County in the City 2016

Monday, April 04, 2016

Price Edward County wines are coming to Toronto for the 5th annual County in the City on April 14th! This spectacular event held at the elegant Berkeley Church will host over 70 different wines from one of the fastest growing wine regions in Ontario. I visited a few of the wineries in Price Edward County last summer and absolutely fell in love with the Pinot Noir and Baco Noir wines from Norman Hardie, Sandbanks Estate and Rosehall Run. The wine region is still fairly young in Price Edward County so you're bound to taste some unique and innovate wines by the adventurous winemakers.

General admission tickets are only $49 and this includes all wine samples and two food items.  You can also purchase bottles of wines you really enjoyed with free shipping on 12 bottle orders and $5 shipping on a minimum of 6. Also with every ticket purchased for County in the City presented by Wine Align, guests receive a complimentary ticket to the Thursday session of the Wine & Spirit Festival on June 16th at Sugar Beach! These tickets will be received upon entry to County in the City.

The confirmed wineries are:
Broken Stone Winery
Casa Dea Estates Winery
