ROM Friday Night Live 2014

Thursday, June 05, 2014

So I’m a little late in finding out about Friday Night Live at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) but there's still a few more events left that you guys need to know about!

Friday Night Live at the ROM is in it's 5th season and takes place every Friday from May 2nd to June 27th, 2014 from 7 pm to midnight.  This social event allows city folks to experience the museum in an exciting 19+ kind of way.  You wont have to worry about kids screaming and strollers running over your feet; instead, indulge in some of the cities best food vendors, drinks and music.

Each Friday night live at the ROM has a unique theme that consists of some of the city’s most popular attractions such as the JUNO Awards, Manifesto Festival of Community & Culture, Canadian Music Week, Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, Fashion Art Toronto, Muhtadi International Drumming Festival, Arts for Children and Youth, and World Pride 2014.

Musical artists include Buck 65, Maestro Fresh Wes, Michie Mee, Slakah the Beatchild, Fefe Dobson, Franceso Yates, Roger Mooking, Idrum, Derek Miller, and many more. There are also DJs every week inclduing Conor Cutz, eFSharp, MAKEM, Fawn Big Canoe and more.

What attracts me the most about this event is the FOOD.  The line-up is amazing and there is a flavour for every foodie out there. The rotation includes: Bliss Cupcakes, HotBunzz Street Cuizine, Gourmet Gringos, Tita Flips, Little Tomato Catering, Saucy Pierogi, Me.n.u Food, Randy’s Roti, Liko’s BBQ, and JK Frites.

Tickets to this event are only $12 or $10 for students. Buy them now for the following events in June:
