WIAW #2

Happy Hump Day!
Can't Believe it's already Wednesday! This week has been so busy and time is just flying by. Today was a nightmare at work but as always I fit in time for my precious precious EATS!
I have been eating a bit naughty for the past 2 days and haven't had a chance to hit the gym so when I came across this someecard today it really hit home lol

For Breakfast I had a delicious latte from the cafe next door.  They make the most perfect latte's ever BUT they are a bit pricey. Well worth it though as they use Illy espresso. I also had a Oikos vanilla Greek yogurt topped with some homemade granola.

I usually have a morning snack but totally forgot!
This is very unusual for me but hey things happen!

For lunch I had to grab something at the food court so I went to Helena's Magic Kitchen and got perogies with 2 sides.  This lil ma and pa place is amazing and always serves fresh homemade foods.  They have cabbage rolls, quiche, meat pies, latkes, and tons of salad sides to choose from.  Really delicious!

At about 3 pm I was in need of something SWEET and so I ate one of these bad boys!

I felt guilty so I also had an apple with it lol

After work I went home and broiled some salmon. I spiced it up with smoked paprika, cumin, salt, pepper and garlic powder.  With it I had a salad with olive oil and white balsamic vinegar.  The salmon turned out amazing! I have another piece leftover for lunch tomorrow but microwaved salmon kind of tastes icky the next day, I'll see if I can stomach it.

A few hours after my dinner I was craving sugar! I wandered into the kitchen and found a box of Oreo's.  I had to have it! I only had 2 though, not so bad :P

I think I am done eating for the day, until tomorrow :)

Happy WIAW!

  3. Sounds like a yummy day to me, love the sound of your salmon! It would be wonderful in a salad - that way you wouldn't have to microwave it. :)

  6. I love salmon. Try eating the leftover cold. You can either eat it as is with a salad or add some mayo or mustard - I usually just add mustard to keep it light and healthy - and a little diced onion and cucumber for a little salmon salad, kind of like tuna salad. It's delicious!

  8. I've never seen that Cadbury bar before! I'm going to have to see if I can find that at the import store. I'm a wee bit obsessed with Cadbury. :)
