Sushi Gen.

The CNE was out of the question today due to the rain storm and humidity, so instead we went for a nice sushi lunch.  We found a place named Sushi Gen right at Yonge and St.Clair.  Right away we decided to go with the all you can eat lunch for $12.99.  Nothing special on the menu, just the regular sushi options but they did have teppanyaki which was nice.  We didn't order that much food but enough that I felt like throwing up after.  We had miso soup, salad, edamame, tons of shrimp and veggie tempura, spicy salmon rolls, dynamite rolls, cucumber rolls, vegetable yakisoba noodles, salmon teriyaki, chicken teriyaki and ice cream.

Everything tasted very average, which is fine by me since I'm not a huge sushi fan in the first place.  The noodle plate they gave us was HUGE and my bf didn't want to eat any of it (I was the one who wanted to order it, but I thought he would at least help me eat some).  I literally forced the lumpy noodles down my throat and then started to spread noodles throughout all of the other empty dishes so that it looked like I ate more. My bf was getting embarrassed so I had to stop.  He surely didn't like the idea of me wrapping up the noodles in a napkin and taking a lil trip to the bathroom to discard of it (I thought it was a good idea).  Thankfully the little Japanese woman was very nice and didn't charge us for the full plate of noodles I left behind.

I am currently in a food coma and refuse to eat for the rest of the day!
